Considered by many to be one of the largest, yet least efficient, markets; Travis has dedicated much of his career to serving the needs of business owners in the lower-middle market. With between $1.0 million and $10.0 million of EBITDA, many of these businesses find themselves transitioning from early success to long-term sustainable growth and many of these business owners find themselves fatigued, overwhelmed, unprepared, or simply too risk averse to get to the next level. It's at this critical junction that access to capital, operating expertise, talent, and resources is paramount to continued value-creation.

Private Equity
Travis Co-Founded and leads Rallyday Partners as Managing Partner, COO, and Investment Committee member. Travis and his partners raised two funds, totaling $350 million, to empower leaders to go even bigger, create the most value for the most amount of people, and share in the experience of a lifetime. Drawing upon its four sources of capital – creative, financial, experiential, and human capital – the firm’s ‘by founder for founders’ strategy provides an alternative to traditional private equity for those that want to go even further, elevate entire industries, and have an experience of a lifetime together.

Investment Banking
As President and Managing Director of SDR Ventures, Travis formed and led the lower middle market investment banking practice. From 2005 through 2018, he led or co-led the origination and execution of 67 transactions and developed a team of investment bankers with deep domain expertise across Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer, and Business Services.

Direct Debt Investing
As a Co-Founder, Investor and Investment Committee member of the direct debt vehicle Coulton Creek Capital, Travis has assisted in the origination, due diligence, funding, and monitoring of over $60MM in private debt, mezzanine debt, convertible debt, and preferred equity.

Community
A Colorado native, Travis invests his time, talent, and treasure in building a thriving community of thought-leaders, business-leaders, and spiritual-leaders in his home state. As a board member of a local community bank, he contributes his expertise to foster economic growth and support small businesses. His commitment to his faith is reflected through his active involvement with his church and community outreach. Travis is passionate about mentorship, dedicating time to guide both young and experienced leaders. Through one-on-one mentorship, group sessions, and speaking engagements, he shares his insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development, empowering others to achieve their full potential.
